Faustus - The Musical

Based on the Christopher Marlowe's Doctor Faustus and Goethe's Faust, Faustus - The Musical is Mott's latest endeavour. The show follows the life of Dr. Johann Faustus who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for twenty four years of knowledge. With a massive score, the music ranges from symphonic pop to classical. A demo recording was made during the summer of 2005. Below you can sample the songs in their barest and most undeveloped state.

Out of the Darkness - A musical mystery

Determined to find the answers to unresolved mysteries surrounding his father's death, Dr. Edward Winston is granted access to an asylum where his late great father was committed and eventually died. With a team of scientists and their spouses and a strange inn keeping couple, Dr. Winston starts experiencing paranormal activity within the asylum. Set in London, 1892, Out of the Darkness features a symphonic/ pop score. Mott originally penned the book, music and lyrics for the initial draft of the show, which spawned a concept album during the summer of 2004. The album featured a fourteen piece orchestra and ten studio singers. In the fall of 2004 the show received a small reading at Ithaca College. After the reading, Jeremy Jordan was brought in to re-write the book. The show is currently being rewritten.

The Life of A Mob Wife - A musical comedy

Debra Delbono has been married to her gangster husband for two years and finally, enough is enough! With the help of her best friend, Joanne, Debra devises a plan to bump off the boss of the mob. Unbeknownst to her, Tony has been devising a plan of his own to get rid of his fiesty bride. With a fun, vibrant pop/ rock score, The Life of a Mob Wife was the first musical by Mott. It had it's world premiere in 2003 in his hometown of New Hartford, New York! In conjuction with the show, an original cast recording was made. The show is currently being rewritten.
