Sometimes Love will be presented as part of The York Theatre's "New 2 New York" Series In 2027 Off-Broadway.
Sometimes Love is presented in association with Red Hanger Productions, and Bee and Tea Productions, is an original musical inspired by the extraordinary true story of Aryana Rose, whose deeply personal presentation at The Moth captivated millions after it went viral in 2017. Aryana, single, in her forties, and the proud mother of a grown daughter, leaves behind the belief that she'll find romantic love and moves overseas to begin a new chapter centered on herself, and art. Fate leads her to Gianluca, a magnetic, free-spirited artist many years her junior who awakens her heart in ways she never imagined possible.Their unlikely romance blossoms into a passionate love story that defies convention. As they navigate desire, intimacy, family, loss, and the inevitable evolution of every relationship, they discover that the truest love isn't about finding a perfect ending, it's about embracing every beautiful, fleeting moment along the way.
Michael Mott is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning composer, lyricist, and vocal producer with over 15 million streams to his name, named one of Playbill's “Contemporary Musical Theatre Songwriters You Should Know.”
Gretchen Suárez-Peña is a playwright and screenwriter, and an Assistant Professor at Florida Atlantic University; she is a 2026 Dramatists Guild Foundation National Fellow and 2026 Candela Playwrights Summer Fellow.
Peter Flynn directed last season’s Monte Cristo and the multimedia performances of November 1918: The Great War & the Great Gatsby for Carnegie Hall.

This vibrant anthem is a request for just one dance at party; Not a life time commitment, just one song together. With a tongue-in-cheek nod to our divas of the 80s and 90s, this is a feel good summer bop.
It was an absolute pleasure collaborating with songwriter/ producer, Ross Baum, on this record. In the spring of 2025 I had lunch with the incredible Sue Drew of Kobalt Music. We discussed my dreams and career trajectory and after the meeting, Sue suggested I reach out to the talented Ross Baum to write and record together. Fast forward to May of 2025 and Ross and I got in the studio and started playing around. This is the result of that meeting. Pure joy all around.
ONE SONG TOGETHER has easily become one of my favorite records I've ever sung, written, co-produced and released.

The entire second season of the popular reality show dropped Friday, April 11th on Netflix and Here and Now is featured at the 31 minute and 30 second mark of episode 8.
Featuring vocals by American Idol superstar, Pia Toscano, this raw, emotional power ballad finds the singer longing for the familiarity of a past love.

Season 2 dropped last Friday and breakout star, Chloe Tucker Caine, sings
Fly High in the season finale, episode 8.

NYC singer/songwriter and composer/lyricist, Michael Mott (In The Light, A Faustian Tale,
Sometimes Love, Where The Sky Ends) returns to The Green Room 42 in NYC on Saturday, December 7th at 7pm for his fifth annual Holiday show, newly titled,
"Broadway Holiday with Michael Mott & Friends."
Celebrate the spirit of the season with this joyful and heartwarming evening of
Mott's mashups and medleys of traditional Holiday favorites as well as his
award winning original Holiday songs.
Referred to as “a contemporary composer you should know” by Playbill and
"a truly special songwriter" by Broadway World, Mott will be joined by two guest vocalists
who will be announced at a later date, as well as his seven-piece band,
under the musical direction of Broadway’s Joshua Zecher-Ross
(Once Upon A One More Time, Be More Chill). Orchestrations are provided by Mott,
Zecher-Ross and Drama Desk Nominee, Kim Scharnberg
(The Great Gatsby, Little Women, Jekyll & Hyde).
Past guest vocalists have included TONY Award Winners Adrienne Warren and Matt Doyle,
TONY Award Nominees Jeremy Jordan and Laura Osnes, as well as Loren Allred,
Sierra Boggess, Jackie Burns, Solea Pfeiffer, Ciara Renée, Jenna Ushkowitz,
